  • What is the guiding philosophy of Preserving the Christian Family?
Our approach is based on the infallible teaching of the Bible. We believe there is no issue about which the Bible is silent. While the specifics may not be addressed, there are principles that are applicable to multiple contexts including marriage and family development.
  • How do I know if PTCF is right for me?
While we are confident in our ability to help most people, there may be cases where other support may be more beneficial. To determine whether PTCF is a good fit for you, we offer a complimentary 15 minute session to discuss your situation. [There is no obligation beyond that.]
  • What if I need a service that is not listed?
Our primary areas of expertise are highlighted in our services section. However, since our approach is biblically based, we are open to discussing situations beyond our listed scope of services. Feel free to contact us to discuss options.
  • Will both team members be present in the session?
You can choose to have either Dean or Karen in your session for the advertised fee. If you desire to secure the services of both of them, please contact us to discuss options.
  • Is this is a long-term commitment?
The issues we deal with can be complex. While much can be accomplished in a single session, some situations may benefit from ongoing interaction. However, there is no obligation to continue and you can choose to stop at any time.
  • What are some key signs that I should explore family development?
Some signs include a breakdown in communication, broken trust, and unfulfilled expectations.
